The countdown has begun for one of the most anticipated events for 2014 - The Street Dance XXL Global Championships!

On the 21st September 2014, Street Dance groups from all over the world descend upon London's OVO Arena Wembley to proudly perform their most breathtaking and spectacular routines.

Performing in front of a rip-roaring live audience, each group will have the chance of winning a cash prize and be crowned number one on the globe, ultimately confirming their country as the best in the world.

Groups will be judged on everything, from their slick moves to their eye-catching costumes… yet, beating the UK home group will be on the agenda of every rival nation. However, the visiting nations may find this a surprising challenge. In the past, impressive groups such as Diversity (2007), Flawless (2005) and Twist & Pulse (2009) have emerge from the XXL UK championships and the 2014 winners may be no exception.

So who will represent the UK in 2014 at the first Global Championships?

With over 5,000 people expected on the day; the opportunity for the British public to vote online for their favourite groups as part of the UK qualifiers; cash donation to the children's charity of the winning nations choice; plus special guest performances to be announced - the Street Dance XXL UK & Global championships is set to get everyone excited and ready to witness the most gripping show of 2014!
