OVO Arena Wembley, managed and operated by Legends Global, is one of the UK’s most legendary concert and events venues. 

Originally opened as the Empire Pool in July 1934 built for the 1934 British Empire Games, the Grade II listed building boasts an incredible history.

In addition to the 1934 British Empire Games, big sporting events at the arena have included the 1948 Summer Olympics (boxing/ diving/swimming/water polo), 2012 Summer Olympics (badminton/rhythmic gymnastics), Wembley Professional Tennis Championships (1934-1990), international boxing matches (including Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev), cycling, ice hockey, professional wrestling, netball, basketball, e-sports and many more.

The arena held its first concert in 1959, followed by countless legendary performances over the decades since, from the likes of The Beatles, Madonna, David Bowie, Diana Ross, and Led Zeppelin to more recently Sam Fender, Janelle Monae, Bon Iver, and Blackpink.

Host to the UK’s first arena comedy show in 1993, the OVO Arena Wembley has since featured in multiple stand-up specials filmed for comedy giants including Ricky Gervais, Jack Whitehall, Michael McIntyre and Lee Evans.   

Hosting over 120 shows and attracting over one million visitors each year, the 12,500 capacity OVO Arena Wembley is a proud winner of the Best Indoor Venue award at the Access All Areas Awards 2025.
