Jamaican dancehall superstar Alkaline has announced his return to the UK, bringing one of the most distinctive and influential voices in modern dancehall to British audiences for a major live performance.
Born Earlan Bartley in Kingston, Jamaica, Alkaline has built a reputation as one of the defining artists of the modern dancehall era. Emerging onto the scene as a teenager, he quickly established his own identity through his distinctive vocal style, sharp lyricism, forward-thinking production and unmistakable visual presence.
Since breaking through in the early 2010s, Alkaline has developed a huge international following, delivering a string of dancehall anthems and building a catalogue that has connected with audiences across Jamaica, the Caribbean, the UK, North America and beyond.
His breakthrough album New Level Unlocked, released in 2016, reached No. 1 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, establishing Alkaline as a major force within the international reggae and dancehall landscape. He followed this with Top Prize in 2021, further cementing his position at the forefront of contemporary dancehall.
In 2026, Alkaline entered a new chapter with the release of his latest album NPT, continuing his evolution as an artist while staying true to the sound and identity that have made him one of dancehall's most recognisable names. The album followed the success of his previous releases and was accompanied by a major headline performance in New York.
The upcoming UK appearance will give fans the opportunity to experience Alkaline live, bringing together some of his biggest records, fan favourites and latest material in what promises to be a high-energy celebration of Jamaican dancehall.
Known for his commanding stage presence and distinctive delivery, Alkaline has consistently pushed the boundaries of contemporary dancehall while developing a sound that blends traditional Jamaican influences with modern hip-hop and electronic production.
Tracks including “Champion Boy”, “Block & Delete”, “After All”, “Formula”, “City”, “Pretty Girl Team” and many more have helped establish Alkaline as one of the most recognisable artists of his generation.
Speaking about his return to the UK, Alkaline said:
“The UK has always been an important part of my journey and I’m looking forward
to connecting with the fans again. This is going to be a special night. I’m bringing
the music, the energy and the full Alkaline experience. I can’t wait to see everyone
